I figured out where my first email went. At the top of this page is a tiny envelope. That tells you that you have email. When you click on it, there's in box, and sent box.....there it was!
Hey Ben,
Here's the breakdown from our committee meeting this past Saturday:
We picked July 25, 26 & 27, 2008 as the dates for the reunion weekend.
Marlene Williams is going to check out the Marriott Hotel at Sea Tac regarding rates (possibly for a Friday night gathering).
Cynthia Palmer is going to check on the Argosy to see what they charge, for the formal Saturday night affair.
Chester West is going to check out parks in the area, including Lincoln Park, where we had the last reunion. He also spoke with Clarence Acox, who is very interested in coming. We're going to see if there's a chance the Garfield Jazz Band might want to play at one of our events. He also wants to talk to Paul Carlson ('79) about advertising on Jazz 98.9. There was talk about even inviting that class too - to get more participation.
I'm delegated to design a "Save the Date" card (almost done) and to let you know what's going on.
Karen Lanier is going to talk to the Facts newspaper about advertising.
David Daniels is going to look at a location and date for our next committee meeting (possibly his firehouse in Renton?)
Suzie Maze is going to see about advertising on ClassMates.com, to get the word out, since many have signed up as Alumni over there.
Marlene and Cynthia are also going to look into a possible photographer, and Kim Glover is going to talk to a friend of her's (Craig King) about being a DJ.
That's what we've accomplished so far :)
Thnkns for adding the section for favorite teachers. It looks like we share one. I hope some of our teachers are out there and come to the reunion. It would be good to see them.
I don't know how possible it is, but could you add a spot for othere activities in high school? I actually remember more folks from the activities we particpated asmuch or more in some cases than I do from classes. Just a thought.
Hey there!
One off to college already. Gosh. I started a little later from the sounds of everyone else. I have a 10 year old daughter and 8 year old son! We are having a blast though and were only in Seattle last August. For the first time in 25 years I really felt home sick. I will be great to catch up with everyone and see how they are all doing. I am getting the year book out of the loft and dusting it off!
Take care,
Ruth

Ben _ I've got a book (as well as a CD somewhere) of all the GHS graduates of all classes, along with the latest location info....
Hi Ben,
I teach P.E. for years 1, 2, 5 and 6. A pretty wide range. Added to this, I am the Welfare Assistant so look after all the children that have medical problems, get injured at school or are ill. A real eye opener.
Hey Ben, thanks for setting this up. It is amazing to hear from people and see what they are up to. I don't know if I ever said thank you for the dinner gathering - despite being distracted by my car situation, I loved seeing everyone.
Yeah, that's not really me . . . That was a picture on the hard drive of my son's girlfriend and her friends at a dance. I believe the photo is taken inside the hallowed halls. I'll post a real photo soon.

Did you get my email the other day, outlining what we discussed at the Reunion Committee gathering? MJ

Thanks for starting the web Page. We need to set up a meeting for planning the 30 year. How about after valentines day?
Wonderful idea! I'm looking forward to this reunion. Let me know when you start planning it.
