30th Reunion Planning
Newport Bay Restaurant – Tukwila, WA
March 30, 2008 – 4:00 p.m.
Eight class members and two guests were present. (There is still room for other classmates!)
Reunion Weekend Schedule
July 25, 2008 – Social Event at an unconfirmed location
Though a number of possibilities were discussed, an activity that is little to low cost is believed to be the most feasible. Perhaps Maxi’s at the Doubletree in SeaTac, which would not require a reservation, rather could be a location for classmates to gather for an evening of socializing.
July 26, 2008 – Dinner Event at the SeaTac Doubletree Hotel Ballroom.
Proposal for a dinner cruise was submitted, but thought to be cost prohibitive. The cost of the facility will be $3,700. To reserve the Doubletree will require a deposit of $1,200.00. The following class members have committed to assist:

July 27, 2008 – Family and Friends Picnic at a location to be determined.
Chester West has made reservations at a number of sites, however there is no way of knowing which facility will be available until closer to the event . The cost of the park is $40.00 total. This would be a "potluck" picnic event.
A number of possibilities were suggested for DJs. Cynthia, Marlene and Renee will be looking into the possibilities.
The initial goal present is to keep tickets for the dinner event in the $50.00 per person range or less, assuming approximately 100 attendees.
Communicating with Class Members
It was felt that it is important to spread the word about the reunion. In that vein, the class membership has been split up for communication purposes, using the last names of class members. The goal is to use the website as a place for people to get additional information.

Other Suggestions
