- I married in 1984, so my last name is now Glover, and my husband Don is also a cat person (even though we like dogs, too). I still live in Seattle, still a Science Fiction geek :), and work in the telecommunications industry. Although I don't do as much writing any more, my hobbies are many in the textile and fiber arts, and I love to do beadwork, make jewelry, and make fabulous costumes, and sing with my mom and brother in our church choir. Although I would still like to see humankind go to the stars, I work to make this planet a better place by being active in peace, environmental and social justice causes.
