I've been happily settled back in Seattle for the last decade after living elsewhere for years. I am an urban housing developer and have just joined the Seattle development firm, Lorig, where I am a Principal in project development. I've been married for 20 years to another Seattle native, Andy Taylor, and we've got two great kids, Ellen, 13, and Logan, 11. We're starting to look at high schools and it's odd to view Garfield now as a prospective parent!

Hi Tory.. great to see you again. You seriously haven't changed a bit! Next time I'm down in Seattle it would be great to hook up and have dinner or even coffee. Starbucks turned out to be a main staple in my diet. It was really neat to get snippets of peoples lives at the reunion... however it left me wanting to fill in more of the gaps, if you know what I mean. So I'm gona keep in touch and catch up to you before too long!
After over 19 years I quit last spring. Matt was just never going to loosen up on the reins and I began to feel more strongly that they were his clients, not mine. I'm trying to do the Developer thing. We should talk sometime. How are you, and what is new in your life? How are the kids?
Good to hear from you. Scotland is a lovely part of the country and we have had some wonderful holidays up in that part of the world. The village we live in is called Wraysbury. It is a stones throw from Windsor. Not far from Heathrow and close enough to London to take the train in for the odd show or visit to a museum. We have a daughter that is 10 and a son that is 8. Both go to our local primary school. We were in Seattle last August (07) and had a fantastic time. In fact it was the first time in over 20 years that I really felt home sick. I could have easily stayed. But here we still are and I have to admit.... I do like the European way of life. However, I miss the great outdoors that living in Seattle offered. We hope that one day we will be able to have a place there and here and can go between. Ahhh that would be nice. But whilst we are here I have to encourage everyone there to come for a visit. So if ever in this part of the world, do look us up. As for the reunion... I would love to get back, but all will depend on time and money. Not always easy to hop on a plane home. Hope this finds you well. You know where Heather is, just make sure you drive carefully up in Bellingham. I can imagine she would be pretty strict if she caught you speeding!!!! Hee hee hee. Take care, Ruth
Hey Tory, would love to hook up for lunch or coffee next time you're up here. I work a rotating shift, but I'm on days for the next 3 months, although I am taking some much needed vacation time off this month. So give me a call next time you're up this way. 360-739-6632
Tory! How the heck are you?! Can't believe the years have gone by so quickly, high school doesn't seem that long ago. Sounds like life has treated you well and that you're doing great. Am looking forward to a reunion... 30 years? egads!
Tory,
Welcome aboard! Be sure to check out www.gsdt.net to see what the refurbished Garfield is going to look like -- the teachers are great and the new facilities will be awesome!
